Hands on Workshops
The iHeartScan workshop series is designed for Anaesthetists, Intensive Care and Emergency Department Physicians and Surgeons who wish to learn how to use Point of Care (POC) transthoracic ultrasound guidance techniques.
These workshops combine eLearning with hands-on practical sessions, giving participants the opportunity to reinforce knowledge with the practice of ultrasound techniques on live models. All workshops are conducted under the guidance of experienced ultrasound trainers. The Ultrasound Education Group runs iHeartScan workshops throughout Australia and occasionally in New Zealand.
Each course provides 20 – 30 hours of learning time, with most students reaching completion in 1 – 2 months.
